3/2012 Work Published in CCSF's Magazine (Bay Area Young Photographers)
In 2012, her artwork was recognized and published in City College of San Francisco’s newspaper, featuring workspecific of young bay area photographers. Her favorite experience working in the field of photography was learning how to work around not having expensive photo equipment. When asked what exactly she meant by this she replied; “Being a photographer on a budget is difficult; I have the aspiration to make the image compositions in my head, and I would do anything I could think of to make that come to life.” When I was first starting out in photography I would use all types of substitutions I could get my hands on. I’d use bed sheets in lieu of backdrops, or vehicle headlights & aluminum foil for better lighting. “It’s so rewarding to make someone else happy, because you captured their special moment forever. When they look back on that image, they can really remember how amazing they felt and looked that day.”
